Having Fun Treating Addictions:
How Mental Health Clinicians, in private practice, can enjoy a difficult population. Chemical, Process, and Co-Occurring Disorders are treatable.
In the mad world of insurance changes, governmental cutbacks and agency closings, and an influx of clients entering the private prac-tice world we find ourselves challenged with the co-morbid client. Co-ordinating treatment within the Mental health and medical fields is no longer placed on community, residential or hospital employees. The Private Practitioner is now the front line Case Manager. Cost of the Training is $59.00.
Dennis has worked in the substance abuse field for 15 years in both community mental health and ad-dictions agencies working as an addiction counselor, clinician, and administrator.
